TV Ratings: The Maggots in the Meathead

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010

Thursday's ratings title went to CBS for the third straight week -- that's not big news. There were a few notable things in the numbers though, including a slight improvement for "Grey's Anatomy" (which overtook "CSI" in total viewers) and further erosion for new comedies "$#*! My Dad Says" and "Outsourced."

CBS took the evening's top spot with 12.6 million viewers and a 7.8 rating/13 share among households. ABC (8.2 million, 5.4/9) came in second, about a million viewers ahead of FOX (7.2 million, 4.3/7). NBC was down a bit from last week with 4.8 million viewers and a 3.0/5, while The CW (3.2 million, 2.0/3) improved slightly.

In the adults 18-49 demographic, CBS' 3.0 rating edged out ABC's 2.9 for the lead. FOX took third with a 2.3, followed by NBC, 2.1, and The CW, 1.3.
